Taoism and Sustainability, Monday November 14, 2011, TECO Room, College of Education

The third lecture in the Confucius Institute's Fall 2011 series will feature Prof. Ronnie Littlejohn of Belmont University. A well published author on Daoism (Taoism), his presentation will introduce themes from the classical Daoist texts and then turn to little known sectarian religious texts and beliefs of Daoism, which give evidence of the great importance of the environment in popular Daoism. The lecture is a part of International Education Week 2011.
